Projects Challenge: This Customer in an inner Sydney Hospital reached out after a workplace incident in the loading dock area of the hospital. Workplace Traffic Management were able to complete a full risk assessment and report, recommendations and supply and install corrective measures including site specific training.

One of the largest challenges with this site was the fact that there is over 300 deliveries through 2 operational dock doors. There was also a wide range of parties using the dock area instead of other access doors. These issues were all rectified along with the traffic management issues. Along with these issues was the challenge of the height adjustable dock. The dock gates that were installed are designed to work with height adjustable docks.

The loading dock operators and delivery drivers also reported a lift in morale leading to a happier working environment and therefore a more engaged workforce. Stadies have found a happier workforce has a greatly reduced incident and injury rate.
